My first blog!!

I have joined the blogosphere!!!!!  So what happens now?   This is interesting, really.  I have 3 email addresses, a cell phone and I'm on Facebook, but it never occurred to me to start a daily (or weekly) blog.

Here's the deal:  I'm 32 years-old, married, with a baby on the way in July.  My wife, Jennifer Sanders, and I, live in downtown Hamilton.  I've been here for a few years now but I'm pretty hard pressed for time since I'm giving away concert tickets, trips, trinkets amid telling you what song is coming up next. So I'm not prone to get personal, even though I'll tell you anything if you ask (really, try it sometime).

Some of the particulars:

Work:            Announcer at K-Lite, Oldies and CHAM.  I've worked in radio for 10 years!

Career highlight:            That day I had off in 2002.  Man, that was awesome!

Extra Curricular: Announcer for the Hamilton Bulldogs, Board member of the Hamilton-Centre Conservative riding association (yes, I'm a Tory), Bass player in several local bands over the years (don't play much anymore, but I will post some video soon), I ran for city council in 2006. Thanks for your votes!

Education:            Westdale Secondary 1990-1995, Mohawk College 1995-1997, McMaster University 2000-2008 (Part-Time Student- Although, sometimes I feel a bit like John Belushi in "Animal House")

Favourite music:   Iron Maiden (you didn't think I'd say Celine Dion or REO Speedwagon, did you?)

Favourite Food:  If you can eat it, I'll try it!
